SK Gaming vs. Gambit Gaming EU LCS Woche 10 wird neu gespielt [Spoiler]

Ja ihr habt richtig gelesen. Wegen einem Aatrox Bug (während die W Level 1-2 hat) wird das Spiel SK Gaming vs. Gambit Gaming nochmal neu ausgespielt und der Sieg von Gambit zählt nicht.

We wanted to share with you a letter we sent to all of the LCS teams describing our decision in regards to the SK-Gambit match from yesterday. We are sharing this to promote transparency in our decision-making process and inform the fans of the LCS of this update to our thinking regarding bugs and remakes.
 
Please find the full text of the letter below:
 
Hello teams,
 
As you likely saw, there was an unfortunate incident yesterday during the SK-Gambit match regarding a champion bug. Because of this incident, we are banning Aatrox from all LCS and Challenger Series competition, commencing immediately.
 
Upon discovering the bug, the disadvantaged team correctly paused and identified the problem, which was easily visible and verifiable upon replay. At this point, the referee should have prompted the disadvantaged team to decide whether they wanted a full game remake or not, but did not. To be clear, this choice will only be offered in the case of a visible and verifiable bug that occurred immediately before the pause; teams will not be allowed to demand a remake significantly after the point where the bug could be determined to be known by the players. This instance met that qualification, and would have resulted in a game remake, had the team known of their ability to request such an event or had the referee asked them directly.
 
Given that the disadvantaged team did pause to identify the bug, but was not properly apprised of their ability to have a remake by the referee on stage, we do not feel that the game was completed under fair conditions. As such, we will be remaking the SK-Gambit game at the conclusion of the LCS matches on Friday, March 28th, and the previous result will be voided.
 
As always, we encourage teams to pause if they believe a game function (including champion ability) is not working as intended. Upon pausing, referees and QA resources will work to confirm the bug. If they are successful in doing so and determine such bug to be of significant impact, the referee will prompt the team who is disadvantaged by the bug to choose whether to remake the game or not. Please note that LCS officials may not be able to reproduce and/or confirm the existence of a bug in all instances; if they cannot, the referee will be empowered to make a decision on whether to offer game remake to the disadvantaged team or not. If the team declines the option to remake, they will not be permitted to request restart for that particular issue for the remainder of the game, nor will we consider a restart after the game has concluded.

Ganz ehrlich mir fehlen die Worte. Sorry ich kann das Gerade nicht übersetzen, muss gleich los. Aber das ist doch total lächerlich. Das ist ein Earlygame Bug der ja wohl NULL Einfluss auf das Spiel hatte… Naja ich hoffe Gambit macht SK einfach nochmal fertig!

 

Hier gibt es noch das Statement von Gambit:


In our official statement regarding the remake of our fourth and final game against SK at LCS EU Spring 2014 we would like to express our opinion on the remake itself and the way this situation was handled by Riot Games‘ representatives.
 
First of all, we would like to address the way it was handled. We find it unacceptable that our players weren’t informed about the occurrence of this bug (Aatrox’s W proccing on every second auto attack) during the pause initiated by SK’s top laner freddy122 for this particular reason. In his statement, our mid laner Alex Ich mentioned that they found out about it only by reading the thread posted on Reddit:
 
„Strange decision from Riot. Aatrox bug only occurred early game, when u change ur W stance it disappears. Botlane and Midlane of SK lost hard and at the same time Darien was still losing his lane and was losing in cs. There were much harder bugs that were never replayed… We didn’t even know that there was a bug ourself until we have read it on Reddit.
You shouldn’t blame SK on this decision. They didn’t ask or force remake, it is totally Riot decision. We are ready to play the rematch and will try our best to win the game again.“
 
Moreover, we were informed about the game being replayed today at 14:10 CET via e-mail right at the same time when this decision was announced to the public. Given that the game is scheduled at 21:00 CET and the decision was announced three hours before the start of the second day of LCS Week 10, we weren’t presented with an opportunity to file an appeal. On top of that, the decision of playing the game today leaves both teams without a possibility to prepare for this match, since both SK and Gambit are playing another game today against Alliance and Supa Hot Crew respectively, which brings us to our next point.
 
While preparing for this match, we predicted that three most contested junglers, including Evelynn, Lee Sin and Kha’Zix are going to be banned, which was the case. Our jungler Diamond shared this information in his post on his personal VK page (Russian). We assume that SK anticipated the same and therefore both teams came up with pocket strategies involving Fiddlesticks for SK and Xin Zhao for Gambit.
 
The draft was of an utmost importance in securing the victory in this game. We stand by the fact that we secured this victory by:
1) Outplaying the opposing bot lane by punishing the lack of mobility of Jinx and Vel’Koz.
2) Orianna outplaying LebLanc and preventing her from snowballing.
3) Having a superior Dragon control due to advantages in the mid and bot lanes.
4) Surprising SK by picking Xin Zhao who punished their immobile AD Carry, Support and Jungler.
 
Thefore we believe that a miniscule advantage that Aatrox might have gained in this short time span had almost no impact on the game that resulted with us having 4 turret advantage, 1 Inhibitor advantage, 21,4k gold advantage and 16 kill advantage.
 
Previously official matches played at LCS Spring 2014 were subject to bugs, for instance, Xpecial being able to Flash while silenced or SaintVicious claiming to have a bug with Annie’s Ultimate. Even though these bugs were brought to the public, the games weren’t remade, therefore it is ambiguous why our final match is going to.
 
Having expressed our personal opinion, we would like to back it up by the official rule set of LCS Season 2014, where it is explicitly stated:
 
„8.3.3 Finality of Judgement. If a referee makes an incorrect judgment during a match, the judgment cannot be reversed, as the decision of the referee is absolute and final there is no appeal process.“
 
We would like to conclude that Riot Games are neglecting their own rule set by appointing a remake of our final game against SK. Even though SK Gaming reported this bug during the game, according to them they didn’t file an appeal for this game to be remade.
 
Having said that we would like to make it clear that despite us disagreeing with the way it turned out, we will play the remake nevertheless and will do our best to win.

Ich fühle hier weiterhin für Gambit, vorallem wenn man sich ansieht wie SK sich bei dem Rematch verhalten hat. Nach dem Sieg im Remacht und bei den Picks etc. Es ist einfach nicht okay, dass die ganze gute Vorarbeit die Gambit geleistet hat durch diese Scheiße fürn Arsch war und man dann im Remacht verliert weil sich Riot über die Entscheidung des Schiris gesetzt hat!
